Basic SEO Connection

Participants will also learn the HTML practices that matter for basic on-page/inbound SEO, including:

  • Proper heading hierarchy

  • Meaningful link text
  • Image alt attributes
  • Semantic HTML
  • Clear page structure

Advanced SEO and AEO are not covered in this workshop. They are addressed in AMWAJ’s professional AEO and SEO workshop.

Hands-on

Participants don’t simply watch demonstrations. An AMWAJ instructor/mentor assists them in creating and modifying HTML directly on their own computer, laptop or tablet.

  • Basic computer literacy
  • A laptop/tablet is recommended
  • Ability to use a web browser
  • No previous HTML knowledge required
